About the event
Leon J was inducted as a Performing Artist, and an Ambassador to the Blues in the National Heritage Blues Hall of Fame in 2011. A master Storyteller, and musician, this show will transport you back in time, unraveling the threads that wove the fabric of blues music into what we now call American Music - Rock, Country, Blues, Jazz and R&B. Through a carefully curated collection of historical photos, you will witness the birth of this iconic genre, its early pioneers, and the cultural influences that shaped it.
As the photographs paint a vivid picture of the past, Leon J's live performance will bring the music to life before your eyes. With his passion-infused vocals and mesmerizing guitar skills, he will pay tribute to the legends of blues, such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and B.B. King and much more.
